AUDIO: Jahriffe and Jah-N-I Roots Movement – “Warrior”

Boston roots reggae act Jahriffe and Jah-N-I Roots Movement recently shared their new song “Warrior” on Soundcloud. Singer/songwriter Jahriffe Mackenzie penned the tune “Giving due respect to those on the path of quality living.” It’s a solid riddim complimented with dropouts and backing vocals at all the right moments.

For those unfamiliar, Jahriffe has been sharing his craft with Boston since 1999.

The Singer/Songwriter of Jamaican – American patronage, from Boston and the Bronx, is equipped with a hybrid of Classical Roots, echoes of Old School harmonies and Consciousness blended with American Rhythm and Blues, Soul and Rasta wisdom. Jahriffe Mackenzie is an avid reader as well as listener, rediscovered Nubian roots and recovered an energy source to be shared for those who would have the eyes to see, ears to hear and hearts to receive.

The band doesn’t have any shows scheduled at the moment so be sure to check the calendar for updates.
