Earlier this month, The Doped Up Dollies posted a lyric video for “Be Free,” the third video from their 2015 release “The New Way Out.” The lyrics themselves tumble on top of a really interesting selection of comics, cartoons, movie posters, and otherwise vintage visuals. This song features vocalist Coolie Ranx and his signature chat style and the video includes his verse (as it should) at the 2-minute mark, for those looking to brush up on their patois.
The band last performed at Allston Awesome Christmas, helping to usher into the beginning of a new school year and new leases. The folks at PBR created this recap which features “Make Your Own Sunshine” off the same Dollies record.
