Brooklyn Attractors Announce New Album The Move, Share Two New Songs

New York ska-jazz-reggae supergroup/collective Brooklyn Attractors have recently announced a new album titled The Move, to be released this summer by Chicago’s Jump Up Records. Along with that announcement, Jump Up have shared two tracks from the full-length called “Road Dog” and “The British Are Coming” to their Soundcloud page. As is to be expected with this all-star roster, these two tracks are top of the line ska and reggae with a solid rhythm section that anchors the horn section’s bright hooks. This new album comes after the band released a live album last year on Rarebreed Records (read our review of that rekkid and listen here).

Spearheaded by Westbound Train and Void Union’s Rich Graiko, Brooklyn Attractors also includes members of the Stubborn All-Stars, Dave Hillyard and the Rocksteady 7, The Toasters, and more. The band’s last studio album, Good Evil Alchemy, can be purchased over at either Jump Up or Stubborn Records. The Brooklyn Attractors can be found on Facebook. Check out the two new tracks below:
