Help Crowdfund The First Save Ferris Album In 15 Years

California ska-punk band Save Ferris have set up a Pledgemusic crowdfunding project to fund their first studio record since 1999’s Modified. Fans of the band are invited to donate money for the album’s production, with contributions being rewarded by perks like signed merch, opportunities to meet the band, and a chance to be on the album itself (“most confusing perk” goes to lead singer Monique Powell’s wedding dress that was the subject of a failed lawsuit). Every contribution also comes with a digital download of the currently untitled finished product, as well as an “AccessPass” to behind-the-scenes content and recording updates.

Alex Chiasson

Alex Chiasson is a writer for Boston Ska (dot) net. Alex's first experience with ska involved referring to it as "that music with the horns, right?". He's gotten better with categorization, but he also has this weird thing about staying humble. You can see Alex perform with The New Limits.
