Yesterday, Canadian rocksteady kings The Beatdown posted a video for the song “Running Around,” the last track on their 2012 Stomp Records release “Walkin’ Proud.” The video features footage from their travels across Europe with beautiful shots, both city and country-side. The song itself is a chill rocksteady and ska jam that makes for a solid album closer. Oddly enough, “Walkin’ Proud” is not their most recent release. The band put out their “Let’s Go” EP in 2014 on Liquidator Music from which they’ve released a couple videos.
We’ve been fortunate enough to host The Beatdown twice at O’Brien’s in Allston and they’ve always shown us a good time. They’re great guys who always put on a great show. Enjoy the video below:
