Spring Heeled Jack USA Announce July 26th Show At The Sinclair

spring heeled jack tour 2015CT ska legends Spring Heeled Jack U.S.A. have recently announced a show at The Sinclair in Cambridge on July 26th, the band’s Facebook page confirms. Supporting the band on the bill will be two stylistically different purveyors of the ’80s sound: hard rockers Waltham and the electro-pop Party Boiis. Interestingly, the flyers for the show tease special guests that will be appearing, so we have a few months of speculation as to who they could be referring to (Chris Rhodes? Pennywise from IT? Just regular Tim Curry?). The show is 18+, and tickets can be purchased via Ticketmaster. Check out the show’s Facebook event page for more info.

In addition to the Sinclair show, Spring Heeled Jack USA will be playing their hometown of New Haven, CT with Mephiskapheles and Party Boiis at Toad’s Place on July 25th, as well as the Virginia Ska Fest on July 24th, which will feature The Slackers, The Pietasters, and many more (read our overview of the festival here). Spring Heeled Jack USA’s last Boston appearance was at the Middle East Club with Thumper and Obi Fernandez of Westbound Train back in 2013. Below, watch our four-part interview with SHJUSA’s Tyler Jones and Ronnie Ragona from the week of that show.

As always, be sure to check out our Boston ska event calendar for more upcoming local shows.
