Stray Bullets Return to the Studio

Boston punk/ska outfit Stray Bullets have returned to the studio. Today on Facebook, they posted pictures from their recording session in Easthampton, MA. This record is a fast follow up to their record “Ghost Town Rockers” released in 2014 on Dying Scene Records. That album came out 10 years following their first full length “The Slings and Arrows of Outrageous Fortune” originally released in 2004.

They first teased a return to the studio earlier this month:

T minus 5 days til we hit the studio! Got snowed out of demos but we’ve been doing a ton of preproduction so fuck it. Super psyched to get Already Dead, Long Ride Home, Liberty Bell, The Road To Hell, and our top secret cover song tracked on Sunday!

I was a huge fan of “Ghost Town Rockers” and I’m excited to hear more music so soon. The band seems to be focusing on recording and to the best of our knowledge won’t be playing a show until May 23 when they perform at the Middle East Upstairs with Slitstitch, A Minor Revolution, The Black Cheers, and Orphan Killbot. This is an all ages matinee and tickets are $10. Join the Facebook Event for more information.

UPDATE 3/1/15 5:00 PM: Spoke to soon on the gigs! They play April 4th at Midway with OC45 and more. Join the Facebook event.
