Boston punks The Warning Shots have announced the release of their second EP, titled Volume 2. Put out by State Line Records, Volume 2 will be released on February 24th March 3rd and will feature four original tracks and a cover of Rancid’s “Brad Logan“. Two tracks, “Make Your Move” and “Your Lost Faith”, are available to stream via State Line’s Bandcamp page (also below!), where the EP is available for digital or physical pre-order. This is the band’s first release since the Six to Midnight EP at the tail end of 2013.

You might remember The Warning Shots from when they opened up both Big D Halloween shows and the second night of the Mighty Mighty Bosstone’s Hometown Throwdown last October and December, respectively. For more info, check out our entry on The Warning Shots in our 2014 Hometown Throwdown Primer.

You can see The Warning Shots next at The Midway Cafe in Jamaica Plain on February 27th, just days after Volume 2 drops in full. Check out the band on Facebook, and as always check our calendar for more local show postings.

UPDATE 1/27/15 9:00 PM: According to the bandcamp page, this album will now be released on March 3rd, 2015.
