This morning, Jeff Rosenstock and Chris Farren released a surprise EP as their project Antarctigo Vespucci called I’m So Tethered, as a kickoff for the tour the band will be starting in a few days. The project, which was originally envisioned as a one-off project between it’s two members, was kickstarted via the release of their debut Soulmate Stuff earlier this year. At four songs length, the EP is shorter than Soulmate, but it still contains the energy and hooks of the first release. Additionally, the EP features drums by Benny Horowitz of The Gaslight Anthem and various contributions by Brooklyn pop-punk band Chumped. A physical release of the EP will be out soon via Asian Man Records. Stream the record over at The A.V. Also, in a new feature we will call “Two Stream Thursdays” and then never refer to again, Jeff spent a solid chunk of this year in Australia working on an album with The Smith Street Band. The result of the trip, Throw Me In The River, is now streaming via the aptly named Australian music site The Music.
