Today in Jeff Rosenstock: New Solo Album + 7″, Shares “Hey Allison” Album Cut

Jeff Rosenstock Hey Allison EP cover

Well, its certainly been a busy week for fans of Jeff Rosenstock. Right on the heels of the announcement of an Antarctigo Vespucci tour (which stops in Boston on Sunday, November 16th at the Middle East Upstairs) and a new Bruce Lee Band LP, Jeff has announced (via Noisey) a 7″ of “Hey Allison” (b/w “I’m So Gross”) to be released later this year, as well as a full length LP of new material to be released at the beginning of next year! Even more, these records are going to be released by Side One Dummy Records, who have a history with Boston Ska after putting out releases from the Bosstones and Big D and The Kid’s Table.

As we told you in a previous post, the songs for this album have been written for a while, and were recorded by Jack Shirley in California during Jeff’s tour with punk-via-post punk band Hard Girls. This album will be Jeff’s first full album of new material since 2011’s Vacation.
