Ant Man star Jeff Rosenstock has spent the past week gracing us with new music, the first of which was the second released track from the new Antarctigo Vespucci album Leavin’ La Vida Loca. Titled “Losing My Mind”, Jeff describes it as a mix between Cyndi Lauper and Built To Spill, which is apt considering Jeff and bandmate Chris Farren’s use of catchy melodies and occasional guitar theatrics. This follows the release of “Impossible To Place”, which immediately followed the announcement of the album’s release date and title last week. Leavin’ La Vida Loca will be out this Friday, July 24th (physical pre-orders are available via Quote Unquote Records), and Brooklyn Vegan has an exclusive stream of the newest track.

What’s more, Jeff has been busy as of late producing Party Adjacent, the new album from Dan Andriano In The Emergency Room which saw a full release last Friday (7/17). Fuse has a full stream of the album, which you can purchase physically at Asian Man Records or digitally on iTunes. It would be wise to give this new album a spin, as Jeff and Dan will be co-headlining a tour together that starts next week, and will make an appearance at the Brighton Music Hall here in Boston on July 30th. The two will be supported by Pet Symmetry, High Dive and Spraynard, and tickets to the show are currently still available through Ticketmaster. Check out our local show calendar for more upcoming shows in the area.
