Kick Off 2016 at Midway Cafe with Local Punk and Ska

With the dust settling from various New Year’s celebrations and the Santas from Throwdown back in storage, it’s time to plan your next ska show. May we suggest hitting up The Midway Cafe in Jamaica Plain this Saturday? A modest $8 will get you an evening with The Screw-Ups, Stray Bullets, The New Limits, and The Copacetics. These bands have played in various combinations before at Midway and it’s always a great time. Be prepared for sing-alongs, dancing, and knowing these bands, some collaborations and guest appearances.

But wait, perhaps you’ve never been to The Midway? Where is it? How do I get to Jamaica Plain? It’s less than a 10-minute walk from the Green St Orange line station. Easy. If you’re looking to make a day of it, start your afternoon at Sam Adams, grab dinner at Doyle’s, and then stumble into the Midway. You can’t go wrong!
