Debut EP By The RiceCrackers Blends 90s Sounds
They released their debut EP Kolohe Kid on July 19, and with four tracks in four different styles, the band is as hard to define musically as they are aesthetically.

Zoe Mathews was introduced to ska in the band hall of her high school, where friends would cover Sublime and Less than Jake, and she would try, with futility, to jam along on her trombone. The Tony Hawk Pro Skater soundtracks got her through every desk job she's ever had. With interests from ska to punk to post-rock, Zoe started writing about music in college for the campus publication Five Cent Sound.
