Throwback Thursday: The Toasters Perform with Westbound Train “Matt Davis” in Vegas

In 2007, Las Vegas was home to the Second Annual International Ska Circus, a ska festival that was a precursor to the still running Viva Ska Vegas. The Toasters were one of many great acts playing that September, and in the clip above, they perform their classic (1987?) instrumental Matt Davis with some help from members of Boston’s own Westbound Train. This video contains a particularly great solo from Westbound Train trumpet player Rich Graiko (at least I think that’s him behind the trumpet).

The Toasters next perform this coming Saturday at Paradise Rock Club, opening for Big D & The Kids Table at the coincidentally throwback-y “Good Luck” show.
