Boston Reggae and ska act Spiritual Rez performed to a packed house at The Sinclair in Cambridge this past weekend. In addition to their own songs, they performed a bright, peppy ska version of the Ben E. King classic “Stand By Me.” The crowd totally digs it and it’s fun to hear everyone sing along on the chorus. The stop was part of a tour taking them up and down the east coast through December.
The band is also in the midst of a kickstarter campaign to raise money for their next album. As of this posting, the campaign was just under halfway to their goal with only 8 days left in the fundraising period. If you like what you’re hearing, now is the time to kick in!
