New Jersey ska/punk up-and-comers Survay Says! bring their polished hooks, heartfelt harmonies, and questionable spelling skills to the northeast this weekend. Their 54-date tour kicked off last weekend, includes stops in Providence, Portland, Brighton, and Plaistow, and is in support of their new album Observations of the Human Condition available tomorrow, April 8th on Asbestos Records. They recently released a video for “I Aim To Misbehave.” Check it out below. Fans of We Are The Union and Less Than Jake will dig these guys. Head to ReadJunk for a closer look at the record.
Supporting their New England dates will be our own ska/punk pavement-pounders A Guy Named Guy. They recently released Allston Pudding’s Localz Only Almost Spring Mixtape features the punk balled “Fire in the Fens,” a tune that reminds me of the darker Bosstones tracks. Listen to that sucker below.
The tour hits Boston on Friday, April 11th at Roggie’s in Brighton with support from The Pomps, Poor Jeremy, and The Pants. It’s 18+, $5 at the door, and you can order pizza while you’re there. I’m a big fan of this place, but skip the ciders on tap, they’ve been flat a few times now. Join the Facebook Event. For details on the other New England shows, head to this Facebook event.
