Boston ska heroes Bim Skala Bim have announced a list of tour dates throughout the Northeast this July, including a show Downstairs at The Middle East on July 24th. The show will have support from Pajama Slave Dancers (no band page, here’s an overview and a live video), Brunt of It, Zeme Libre, and The Porter Squares. Tickets are available via Ticketweb and are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. The show is 18+, and you check out the Facebook event page for more info.
Annual summer dates have become a tradition with Bim, especially since the release of 2013’s Chet’s Last Call and this year’s split 7″ with King Hammond. Bim played the Middle East last year around the same time, supported by King Hammond, Malabar, Mr. Kowalsky and The New Limits (check out a segment of that night’s set here).
If you can’t make the Middle East show, Bim is also playing several shows down the Cape in Falmouth and Wellfleet, and will kick off the tour officially at The Parlor in Newport, RI.
