This Thursday, July 11th, legendary ska band The Specials take the stage at House of Blues Boston. Tickets are still available if you haven’t picked them up yet (I just got mine yesterday).
Providing the pre-show festivities is King Django’s Version City Tour featuring Brian Hill, John DeCarlo & Anthony Vito. You’ll recognize King Django as the leader of bands such as Stubborn All-Stars and Skinnerbox, Brian Hill from Regatta 69, John DeCarlo from Westbound Train, and Anthony Vito from Royal City Riot and Broadcaster.
The party takes place at the Foundation Room, the House of Blues’ upscale hangout in the same building. You’re getting dressed up for The Specials anyways so you might as well get as much mileage as you can out of the outfit. Admission to the pre-show is $20 and is separate from the tickets to The Specials (though, when you purchase your Specials tickets, you can grab tickets to the pre-show).
UPDATE 7/11/13 1:15 PM: There is ALSO a post-show party! Same place, same band. You’ll already be wired from the show so why not keep dancing?
