Along with his bff/podcast co-star Chris Farren, Jeff Rosenstock has spent the last year or so performing and writing music as Antarctigo Vespucci (amongst other projects, of course). After teasing the idea of a new album for a bit, today the duo announced that their debut full-length, titled Leavin’ La Vida Loca, will be released digitally on July 24th, with physical releases planned for later in the year through Really Records. This album follows the two EPs Soulmate Stuff and I’m So Tethered, which were filled with some of the catchiest pop-punk to come out in years.
What’s more, Rosenstock and Farren have premiered “Impossible To Place”, the debut single from the album, exclusively over at Stereogum. The poppy sing-along features Farren on lead vocals (as does most of the rest of AV’s material) and a production style that is unmistakably Jeff’s. Furthermore, drums on this and all other album tracks are courtesy of The Gaslight Anthem‘s Benny Horowitz.
Leavin’ La Vida Loca is available for physical pre-order at Really Records (available in vinyl and cassette).
