Today the Doped Up Dollies shared a video featuring behind the scenes footage of their recording. If the music playing is a taste of what’s to come then I am all the more excited for their debut record due out in October. The video also kindly reminds folks that their Kickstarter funding period ends St. Patrick’s Day, Tuesday, March 17, which leaves you just a week to get in on the pre-sale, as they’ve reached almost double their original goal.
My only concern for the band is that they’re spending an awful lot of time in what appears to be a very cramped space. Now, these are professional musicians so I’m sure it’s not too different from being stuck in a tour van. The camera angles are very big-brother style and I could image the editor might have had to cut out an argument or two. But seriously the time-lapse footage is pretty cool. Watch below:
